Privacy Policy
Updated October 17, 2026. This notice explains how information submitted through albertabouldering.com is handled.
Information you send us
Our forms collect your name, email address and the information you choose to submit, such as feedback, guidebook corrections, climbing details or a purchase enquiry. A shipping enquiry may also include your address. Please do not include payment card information or other sensitive information in these forms.
How we use it
We use your submission to respond to you, handle your enquiry and review information about the guidebook or climbing areas. Submissions and contact details are stored in our Contact Hub system, managed alongside Ascension. Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up for newsletters.
Newsletter choices
Alberta Bouldering newsletter consent is requested separately and is unchecked by default. You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe option in a marketing email or by contacting us through the general feedback form. Unsubscribe and suppression records are kept to help prevent further unwanted marketing. An enquiry does not override an existing unsubscribe restriction.
Spam protection and hosting
The website and Contact Hub use hosting providers to operate the service. Technical information, including IP addresses and request details, may be processed for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes IP addresses and browser and device signals to distinguish visitors from automated traffic. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Service providers may process information outside Canada.
Privacy questions and requests
To ask about information you have submitted, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw newsletter consent, use the general feedback form on our home page and put “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal obligations or to honour an unsubscribe request.

Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. This notice describes the Alberta Bouldering website forms and contact handling. We will update it as these services change.
